TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION, BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS, RELATING TO ADOPTION OF PART IV OF THE NATIONAL BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS PRACTICAL EXAMINATION, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2463, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Board of Chiropractic Examiners, relating to adoption of Part IV of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Practical Examination, designated as Regulation Document Number 2463, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
The Board of Chiropractic Examiners is proposing to amend its existing regulations by replacing the state practical examination with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) practical examination (Part IV). The board has determined that passage of Part IV of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) is an acceptable practical examination for licensing purposes in this State.
