AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE INTERCHANGES OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 95 WITH HIGHWAY 301 AND HIGHWAY 6 IN ORANGEBURG COUNTY AND HIGHWAY 278 AND HIGHWAY 17 IN JASPER COUNTY MAY BE MOWED BEYOND THIRTY FEET FROM THE PAVEMENT.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Interchanges may be mowed

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 57-23-800 of the 1976 Code, or any other provision of law, the interchanges of Interstate Highway 95 with Highway 301 and Highway 6 in Orangeburg County and Highway 278 and Highway 17 in Jasper County may be mowed beyond thirty feet from the pavement.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 6th day of June, 2002.

Approved the 2nd day of August, 2002.
