A JOINT RESOLUTION TO POSTPONE UNTIL PROPERTY TAX YEARS BEGINNING AFTER 2003 THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REVISED VALUES DETERMINED IN THE COUNTYWIDE APPRAISAL AND EQUALIZATION PROGRAM CONDUCTED IN COLLETON COUNTY IN 2001.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Implementation postponed
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 12-43-217(B) of the 1976 Code, implementation of the revised values determined in the countywide appraisal and equalization program conducted in Colleton County in 2001 is postponed until property tax years beginning after 2003.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 5th day of June, 2003.
