VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
CONGRATULATING HIGH JUMPER BROCK BRIGMAN OF BROOME HIGH SCHOOL IN SPARTANBURG COUNTY ON HIS RECORD-MATCHING JUMP OF SIX FEET SIX INCHES TO TAKE THE SOUTH CAROLINA AAA HIGH JUMP TITLE FOR 2004.
Whereas, Brock Brigman of Spartanburg County began doing the high jump for the Broome High School track team during his eighth grade; and
Whereas, he developed his ability over the years to take both the Region III AAA championship and the Spartanburg County championship the past two years; and
Whereas, his best effort of six feet eight inches is a Spartanburg County record and a new Broome High School top mark; and
Whereas, he matched the Class AAA state record with a jump of six feet six inches to cap his track career with a state title. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly congratulate high jumper Brock Brigman of Broome High School in Spartanburg County on his record-matching jump of six feet six inches to take the South Carolina AAA High Jump Title for 2004.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Brock Brigman.
