A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE THE SOUTH CAROLINA RULES OF APPELLATE PROCEDURE, RELATING TO COURT-ANNEXED ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION RULES, AUTHORIZED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE V OF THE CONSTITUTION OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1895.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The South Carolina Rules of Appellate Procedure amending the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) rules and merging the circuit and family court ADR rules into one set of rules, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article V of the Constitution of South Carolina, 1895, are approved.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
