A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-3-117 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A GOLF CART MAY BE USED TO TRANSPORT INDIVIDUALS WITHIN A ONE-HALF MILE RADIUS OF A FACILITY THAT IS HOSTING A SPORTING EVENT, CONCERT, OR ANOTHER FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 3, Chapter 3, Title 56 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 56-3-117.    A golf cart may be used by the sponsors of an event to transport individuals within a one-half mile radius of a facility that is hosting a sporting event, concert, or another form of entertainment."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
