AN ACT TO DESIGNATE MAP DOCUMENT NUMBERS FOR MAPS DELINEATING THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN SCHOOL DISTRICTS NO. 1 AND NO. 2 IN CLARENDON COUNTY AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE MAPS DELINEATING THIS BOUNDARY BE FILED AND MAINTAINED IN THE OFFICE OF RESEARCH AND STATISTICS OF THE STATE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Boundary lines designated

SECTION    1.    (A)    Notwithstanding another provision of law, the boundary line of School District No. 1 of Clarendon County is designated on map document number S-27-01-08.

(B)    Notwithstanding another provision of law, the boundary line of School District No. 2 of Clarendon County is designated on map document number S-27-02-08.

(C)    These maps referred to in subsections (A) and (B) must be filed and maintained in the Office of Research and Statistics of the State Budget and Control Board and furnished to the superintendents of School Districts No. 1 and No. 2 of Clarendon County.

Time effective

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 29th day of May, 2008.

Approved the 4th day of June, 2008.
