VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO CONGRATULATE THE GREENWOOD WANDERERS SOCCER TEAM, OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA AMATEUR SOCCER ASSOCIATION'S CENTRAL LEAGUE, ON ITS IMPRESSIVE WIN OF THE 2008 SOUTH CAROLINA KOMATSU STATE CUP CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE, AND TO HONOR THE PLAYERS AND COACH SAMMY NASROLLAHI ON AN OUTSTANDING SEASON.
Whereas, the Greenwood Wanderers soccer team, of the South Carolina Amateur Soccer Association's Central League, capped its outstanding season by capturing the 2008 South Carolina Komatsu State Cup Championship title; and
Whereas, exhibiting teamwork, dedication, tenacity, and skill, the Greenwood Wanderers achieved this sweet victory as the latest in a long line of over one hundred wins that have garnered the team an impressive array of trophies during its twenty-year history; and
Whereas, under the able leadership of Coach Sammy Nasrollahi, the Wanderers have brought deserved accolades not only upon themselves but also upon the City of Greenwood and Greenwood County; and
Whereas, the House takes great pleasure in recognizing the noteworthy achievements of such outstanding athletes as those of the Greenwood Wanderers soccer team. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate the Greenwood Wanderers soccer team, of the South Carolina Amateur Soccer Association's Central League, on its impressive win of the 2008 South Carolina Komatsu State Cup Championship title, and honor the players and Coach Sammy Nasrollahi on an outstanding season.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Sammy Nasrollahi for the team.
