A SENATE RESOLUTION

RECOGNIZING AND HONORING SYDNEY BUTLER FOR HIS TIRELESS DEDICATION, COMMITMENT AND ADVOCACY ON BEHALF OF PEOPLE WITH EPILEPSY.

Whereas, Sydney Butler's tireless dedication, commitment and advocacy on behalf of people with epilepsy assisted in the passing of S.353, a joint resolution to assist those with epilepsy; and

Whereas, while Mr. Butler suffers from epilepsy himself, he has contributed greatly to the citizens of the State of South Carolina and Kershaw County by participating in numerous public endeavors; and

Whereas, Mr. Butler has earned great respect and recognition in his community for his commitment and assistance to those in need. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate, by this resolution, recognize and honor Mr. Sydney Butler for his tireless dedication, commitment and advocacy on behalf of those with epilepsy.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Sydney Butler.
