Let us pray. Gracious God, thank You for being faithful to us even when we are not faithful to You. May Your presence and protection and blessing be with these people in this State. Continue Your gift of courage and strength as all of us go about Your business in this place. Look in favor upon our Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, this Honorable Assembly, and all who serve in these Halls of Government. Protect our defenders of freedom at home and abroad as they protect us. Hear our prayer, O God. Amen.
