That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

TO PROVIDE THAT ACT 99 OF 1999, THE SOUTH CAROLINA FIRST STEPS TO SCHOOL READINESS ACT, IS REAUTHORIZED UNTIL JULY 1, 2014.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Act 99 of 1999, South Carolina First Steps to School Readiness Act, is reauthorized until July 1, 2014.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
