A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO FIX NOON ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 1, 2013, AS THE TIME TO ELECT A SUCCESSOR TO THE MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION FOR THE FIRST DISTRICT FOR A TERM EXPIRING ON JUNE 30, 2016; TO ELECT A SUCCESSOR TO THE MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION FOR THE THIRD DISTRICT FOR A TERM EXPIRING ON JUNE 30, 2016; TO ELECT A SUCCESSOR TO THE MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION FOR THE FIFTH DISTRICT FOR A TERM EXPIRING ON JUNE 30, 2016; AND TO ELECT A PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONER FOR THE SEVENTH DISTRICT, AS A SUCCESSOR TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONER FOR THE AT-LARGE SEAT, FOR A TERM EXPIRING ON JUNE 30, 2016.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the Senate and the House of Representatives shall meet in joint assembly in the Hall of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at noon to elect a successor to the Public Service Commissioner for the First    District, for a term expiring on June 30, 2016; to elect a successor to the Public Service Commissioner for the Third District, for a term expiring on June 30, 2016; to elect a successor to the Public Service Commissioner for the Fifth District, for a term expiring on June 30, 2016; and to elect a Public Service Commissioner for the Seventh District, as a successor to the Public Service Commissioner for the at-large seat, for a term expiring on June 30, 2016.

Be it further resolved that all nominations for successors to the Public Service Commission must be made by the Chairman of the State Regulation of Public Utilities Review Committee, and that no further nominating or seconding speeches may be made by members of the General Assembly on behalf of any candidate.
