VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES UPON THE DEATH OF FREEMAN GLADDEN OF CALHOUN COUNTY, AND TO OFFER THEIR SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO HIS LOVING FAMILY AND HIS MANY FRIENDS.
Whereas, Freeman Gladden of St. Matthews died Tuesday June 14, 2016; and
Whereas, Mr. Gladden served his country as a member of the National Guard and the United States Marines; and
Whereas, he served as a deacon at Mount Zion AME church and also as a first responder; and
Whereas, he was devoted to Kathy, his wife, and their four daughters; and
Whereas, it is fitting for the members of the House of Representatives of South Carolina to recognize his legacy of service to his community, State, and nation. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives by this resolution, express their deepest sorrow upon the death of Freeman Gladden of Calhoun County and offer their sincere condolences to his loving family and his many friends.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to his wife, Mrs. Kathy Gladden.
