VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO CONGRATULATE TONY CASEY UPON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT FROM ELGIN PHARMACY, TO COMMEND HIM FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE ELGIN COMMUNITY, AND TO WISH HIM MUCH HAPPINESS AND FULFILLMENT IN THE YEARS AHEAD.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina General Assembly are pleased to recognize Tony Casey upon the occasion of his retirement from Elgin Pharmacy; and
Whereas, a native of Spartanburg, Tony Casey is an alumnus of the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, where he graduated in 1976; and
Whereas, with a long and fulfilling career, Tony worked at Richland Memorial Hospital and then retired from Fairfield Memorial Hospital; and
Whereas, in 1986, Tony opened Elgin Pharmacy with Freddy Mubarak. Over the years, the pharmacy has served four generations of local families; and
Whereas, a devout Christian, Tony serves as a deacon at North Trenholm Baptist Church in Columbia; and
Whereas, Tony is married to his wife, Kay. Together, they have two sons, Ryan and David. They are expecting their first grandchild, a granddaughter, this summer; and
Whereas, in his free time, Tony enjoys golfing and spending time at the beach with family; and
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina General Assembly appreciate the dedication that Tony Casey has shown in serving the people and the State of South Carolina. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, congratulate Tony Casey upon the occasion of his retirement from Elgin Pharmacy, commend him for his many years of dedicated service to the Elgin community, and wish him much happiness and fulfillment in the years ahead.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Tony Casey.
