Our thought for today is from Psalm 33:20: "God is our shield and helper."

Let us pray. God help us trust in You as our helper and shield. Compassioniate God, we are Yours. Give us the help we need as these Representatives and staff work through the items of today. Continue Your blessings on our defenders of freedom and first responders as they care for us. Look in favor on our World, Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, Staff, and all who give of their time and effort to ensure success for this Assembly. Bless our men and women who give of themselves for our society. Heal the wounds, those seen and those hidden, of our brave warriors. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
