NO. 7
REGULAR SESSION BEGINNING TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2023
________
The House assembled at 10:00 a.m.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:
Our thought for today is from Job 12:10: "In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of every human being."
Let us pray. Creator God, help us see how deep and wide Your saving work for all creation, a love that is most dearly through the works of God with us. We remember Your saving help, O God as we ask for Your help in keeping these people free from danger. Bless our defenders of freedom and first responders as they care for us. May You, O God give these Representatives and Staff the time and talent to do what is asked of them. Bless our World, Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, and Staff. Bless and keep our Armed Forces and those who suffer wounds, seen and unseen of our brave warriors. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
