A house RESOLUTION

 

TO HONOR THE LIFE AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF PROMINENT AFRICAN BUSINESS LEADER HIGH CHIEF DR. SEINYE LULU-BRIGGS, EXECUTIVE CHAIR OF MONI PULO LIMITED, IN NIGERIA.

 

Whereas, High Chief Dr. Seinye Lulu-Briggs stands as a beacon of transformative leadership in both the business and philanthropic sectors. As chair of Moni Pulo Limited (MPL), Dr. Lulu-Briggs has driven the company to remarkable milestones, including achieving over five million man-hours without lost-time injuries, as well as setting new benchmarks for safety, operational excellence, and corporate responsibility; and

 

Whereas, her leadership has shaped MPL into an industry leader, fostering deep, lasting relationships with host communities and promoting sustainable practices in Nigeria's oil and gas sector; and

 

Whereas, her influence extends far beyond corporate success. Through the O.B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation, Dr. Lulu-Briggs has pioneered impactful initiatives that provide free medical services, clean water, and empowerment programs to underserved communities, especially in Nigeria's Niger Delta region. Her work has had a transformative effect on vulnerable populations, such as the elderly, infirm, and disadvantaged groups, improving their quality of life and opening doors to opportunities that were once beyond reach; and

 

Whereas, with a heart dedicated to nurturing local talent and creating long-term societal impact, High Chief Dr. Lulu-Briggs continues to lead with compassion, fostering positive change in the communities she serves; and

 

Whereas, her relentless commitment to sustainable development, social equity, and community empowerment has left a lasting imprint on the lives of many, shaping a future of hope and opportunity for generations to come. Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

 

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, honor the life and achievements of prominent African business leader High Chief Dr. Seinye Lulu-Briggs, executive chair of Moni Pulo Limited, in Nigeria.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to High Chief Dr. Seinye Lulu-Briggs.
