The First Floor of the State House The First Floor of the State House has beautiful architectural features including white Georgian marble walls, pink and white marble floors, granite columns and an arched ceiling. The pink marble for the floor came from Tennessee and the white marble for the walls and floor came from Georgia. The east wing of the first floor is home to the Lieutenant Governor's Office. The west wing houses the Office of the Governor. Twin staircases lead to the Main Lobby on the second floor.
