A Bill to amend Section 56-1-280, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to mandatory suspension or revocation of drivers' licenses, so as to provide that notice of an out-of-state conviction requiring a person's South Carolina's driver's license to be suspended or revoked must be received by the Department of Public Safety within two years of the date of the convictions, and to make the above provisions retroactive to January 1, 1996.
