S 0162 General Bill, By I.E. Lourie
    A Bill to amend Chapter 11 of Title 19, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to competency of witnesses, by adding Section 19-11-95 so as to define health care professional, to provide that medical information concerning the physical or mental condition of a patient is privileged information, to provide instances in which the privilege is waived as to the health care professional, and to provide that any health care professional is not liable for the release of the information to authorized persons.
