    AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT BEGINNING WITH SCHOOL YEAR 2003-2004, THE STARTING DATE AND ENDING DATE FOR THE ANNUAL SCHOOL TERM OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF AIKEN COUNTY, EDGEFIELD COUNTY, AND McCORMICK COUNTY MUST BE SET BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE DISTRICTS IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION PROVIDED THAT THE ANNUAL SCHOOL TERM MUST COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 59-1-420 RELATING TO LENGTH OF THE SCHOOL TERM. - ratified title
