    A Bill to amend Section 9-11-40, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to membership in the South Carolina Police Officers Retirement System, so as to provide that the payment necessary to receive credit under the System for service in the South Carolina Retirement System is the accumulated contributions and interest in the South Carolina Retirement System plus five percent of current salary for each full year credited prorated for periods of less than a year.
