TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 4-27-185 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT UPON RECORDATION, FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAN ROADWAYS SUPERSEDE ROADS THAT WERE ON A PREVIOUSLY RECORDED PLAT OR DEED.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 4-27-185. Upon recordation of a final subdivision plan that has been approved pursuant to Section 4-27-180(3), the streets, alleys, or roads contained in the plan replace and supersede previous streets, alleys, or roads contained in a previously recorded plat or deed concerning that property unless the streets, alleys, or roads are incorporated into and are a part of the final subdivision plan."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
