A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE SCHOOL DAYS MISSED ON MARCH 31, 1992, AND APRIL 1, 1992, BY THE STUDENTS OF THE TRAVELERS REST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN THE GREENVILLE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT BECAUSE OF THE CONDEMNATION OF THE SCHOOL BUILDING ARE EXEMPT FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN THAT FULL SCHOOL DAYS MISSED DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER OR OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES BE MADE UP.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
School days missed not required to be made up
SECTION 1. The school days missed on March 31, 1992, and April 1, 1992, by the students of the Travelers Rest Elementary School in the Greenville County School District because of the condemnation of the school building are exempt from the make-up requirement of the defined minimum plan that full school days missed due to extreme weather or other circumstances be made up.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
