A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE SCHOOL DAYS MISSED ON NOVEMBER 25, 26, AND 27, 1991, BY THE STUDENTS OF THE SEVIER MIDDLE SCHOOL IN GREENVILLE COUNTY BECAUSE OF A FIRE ON SCHOOL PROPERTY ARE EXEMPT FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN THAT FULL SCHOOL DAYS MISSED DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER OR OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES BE MADE UP.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Exemption from making up school days
SECTION 1. The school days missed on November 25, 26, and 27, 1991, by the students of Sevier Middle School in Greenville County because of a fire on school property are exempt from the make-up requirement of the defined minimum plan that full school days missed due to extreme weather or other circumstances be made up.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
