A JOINT RESOLUTION TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO STUDY THE INTERSECTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 52 AND U.S. HIGHWAY 521 IN WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY AND MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO IMPROVE THE SAFETY OF THE AREA.
Whereas, numerous accidents involving fatalities have occurred at the intersection of U. S. Highway 52 and U. S. Highway 521 in Williamsburg County. Now, therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Highway Department study mandated
SECTION 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation shall study the intersection of U. S. Highway 52 and U. S. Highway 521 in Williamsburg County and make recommendations to the General Assembly to improve the safety of the area. The study and recommendations must be submitted within fifteen days of the effective date of this resolution.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
