A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE SCHOOL DAYS OF NOVEMBER 30 THROUGH DECEMBER 3, 1992, MISSED BY THE STUDENTS OF BARR STREET JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN LANCASTER COUNTY, AND THE SCHOOL DAYS OF DECEMBER 3, 4, AND 7 OF 1992, MISSED BY THE STUDENTS OF THE DOBSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN LANCASTER COUNTY WHEN THESE SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED DUE TO FIRE ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN THAT FULL SCHOOL DAYS MISSED DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER OR OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES BE MADE UP.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
School days missed not required to be made up
SECTION 1. The school days of November 30-December 3, 1992, missed by the students of Barr Street Junior High School in Lancaster County, and the school days of December 3, 4, and 7 of 1992, missed by the students of the Dobson Elementary School in Lancaster County when these schools were closed due to fire are exempted from the make-up requirement of
the defined minimum plan that full school days missed due to extreme weather or other circumstances be made up.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
