AN ACT TO TRANSFER THE DUTIES OF THE REGISTER OF DEEDS PERFORMED BY THE CLERK OF COURT FOR LANCASTER COUNTY TO THE RECORDS MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR OF LANCASTER COUNTY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Duties transferred
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the duties of the Register of Deeds performed by the Clerk of Court for Lancaster County are transferred to the Records Management Director of Lancaster County.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 31st day of May, 2000.
Approved the 6th day of June, 2000.
