Has polled the Concurrent Resolution out majority favorable.
TO FIX WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 1999, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE ELECTION OF JUDGES AS THE TIME TO ELECT A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF FRANCIS MARION UNIVERSITY REPRESENTING THE THIRD CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT, SEAT SIX.
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
(1) That the Senate and the House of Representatives meet in joint session in the Hall of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, June 2, 1999, immediately after the election of judges for the purpose of electing a member of the board of trustees of Francis Marion University representing the third congressional district, seat six.
(2) That all nominations be made by the chairman of the joint legislative committee which screened the candidates for the above offices and that no further nominating nor any seconding speeches be made during the joint session by members of the General Assembly on behalf of any of the candidates.
