AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 49-29-230, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO CERTAIN SCENIC RIVER DESIGNATIONS, SO AS TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF THE BLACK RIVER AS A SCENIC RIVER.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Portion of Black River designated as a scenic river
SECTION 1. Section 49-29-230 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 20 of 1999, is further amended by adding:
"(6) that portion of the Black River located between the Clarendon County Road No. 40 bridge crossing of the Black River and downstream to the Pea House Landing at the end of Georgetown County Road No. 38."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 23rd day of May, 2001.
Approved the 29th day of May, 2001.
