A JOINT RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE TO REVISE THE 2004 INDEX OF TAXPAYING ABILITY FOR PURPOSES OF ADJUSTING FOR A VALUATION ERROR IN ROCK HILL SCHOOL DISTRICT THREE OF YORK COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Adjustment to index

SECTION    1.    For purposes of adjusting for a valuation error in Rock Hill School District Three of York County, the South Carolina Department of Revenue may revise the 2004 Index of Taxpaying Ability, as defined in Section 59-20-20(3) of the 1976 Code, for purposes of calculating the 2004 Index of Taxpaying Ability.

Time effective

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 2nd day of June, 2004.

Approved the 15th day of June, 2004.
