TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 40-13-255 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES TAKEN OUT OF STATE BY A COSMETOLOGIST LICENSED IN THIS STATE MUST COUNT TOWARD THE COSMETOLOGIST'S ANNUAL SOUTH CAROLINA CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS IN A MANNER PROVIDED BY THE BOARD.
Amend Title To Conform
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Chapter 13, Title 40 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 40-13-255. The board may approve continuing education courses whether taken in state or out of state in a manner provided by the board."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
