A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE SCHOOL DAY MISSED ON DECEMBER 10, 2007, BY THE STUDENTS OF GREENVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WHEN THE SCHOOL WAS CLOSED DUE TO A COLLAPSED CEILING, IS EXEMPT FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN THAT FULL SCHOOL DAYS MISSED DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER OR OTHER DISRUPTIONS BE MADE UP.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Greenview Elementary School make-up day exemption
SECTION 1. The school day missed on December 10, 2007, by the students of Greenview Elementary School when the school was closed due to a collapsed ceiling, is exempt from the make-up requirement of the defined minimum plan that full school days missed due to extreme weather or other disruptions be made up.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 10th day of April, 2008.
Became law without the signature of the Governor -- 4/17/08.
