To whom was referred a Bill (H. 4861) to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 7-13-367 so as to require Chesterfield County Election Commission to prepare one ballot for, etc., respectfully

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 7-13-367 SO AS TO REQUIRE CHESTERFIELD COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION TO PREPARE ONE BALLOT FOR ALL ELECTIONS WHEN A NONPARTISAN SCHOOL ELECTION IS HELD ON THE SAME DAY AS ANOTHER ELECTION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 3, Chapter 13, Title 7 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 7-13-367.    The Chesterfield County Election Commission shall prepare one ballot for all elections when a nonpartisan school election is held on the same day as another election."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
