TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 7-13-367 SO AS TO REQUIRE CHESTERFIELD COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION TO PREPARE ONE BALLOT FOR ALL ELECTIONS WHEN A NONPARTISAN SCHOOL ELECTION IS HELD ON THE SAME DAY AS ANOTHER ELECTION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 3, Chapter 13, Title 7 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 7-13-367. The Chesterfield County Election Commission shall prepare one ballot for all elections when a nonpartisan school election is held on the same day as another election."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
