TO PLACE IN MURRELLS INLET AT LEAST EIGHT BUOYS THAT ESTABLISH A NO WAKE ZONE WITHIN FIFTY FEET OF A DOCK.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The Department of Natural Resources shall place in Murrells Inlet, at least eight buoys between Green Marker 11 and Red Marker 12 out toward the jetties. The buoys must have printed on them "NO WAKE WITHIN FIFTY FEET OF DOCK" or "NO WAKE EAST OF BUOYS". The department may partner with a community to purchase the buoys.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
