Whereas, over the course of almost 175 years of its rich history, the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind has seen sixteen superintendents and presidents who have shared a common goal to make SCSDB the leader in education and accessibility for individuals who are deaf or blind or have multi-sensory disability; and
Whereas, Jolene Madison was appointed the sixteenth president of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind in 2021, and she continues to lead the school in support of its rich history. Now, therefore,
