AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 21-352, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1962, RELATING TO THE EXEMPTION FROM THE PROHIBITION AGAINST EMPLOYMENT OF TEACHERS RELATED TO A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, SO AS TO DELETE THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN LEXINGTON COUNTY FROM THE EXEMPTION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Applicability of section

SECTION 1. Section 21-352 of the 1962 Code, as last amended by Act 1092 of 1972, is further amended to read:

"Section 21-352. The provisions of Section 21-351 are not applicable in Kingstree School District in Williamsburg County or in the school districts of Chester and Newberry Counties."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
