    AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, TO ENACT THE "SOUTH CAROLINA TELEMEDICINE ACT" BY ADDING SECTION 40-47-37 SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE PRACTICE OF TELEMEDICINE AND TO ESTABLISH REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO THE PRACTICE OF TELEMEDICINE; TO AMEND SECTION 40-47-20, RELATING TO DEFINITIONS OF TERMS USED IN CHAPTER 47, TITLE 40, SO AS TO DEFINE "TELEMEDICINE"; TO AMEND SECTION 40-47-113, RELATING TO THE REQUIREMENT OF A PHYSICIAN-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP BEFORE PRESCRIBING MEDICATION FOR A PATIENT, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE PRESCRIPTION OF MEDICATION AS PART OF THE PRACTICE OF TELEMEDICINE AND TO ESTABLISH LIMITATIONS. - ratified title
