AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-17-510, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO RESTRICTIONS ON THE TAKING OF CERTAIN FISH AND CRUSTACEANS, SO AS TO REVISE THE RESTRICTIONS PERTAINING TO RED DRUM.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Red drum restrictions revised
SECTION 1. Section 50-17-510(D)(2) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 326 of 1992, is further amended to read:
"(2) It is unlawful for a person to take or have in possession any red drum exceeding twenty-seven inches in total length."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
