AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 4-9-155, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO AUDIT STANDARDS FOR THE COUNTY ASSESSOR, AUDITOR, TREASURER, AND TAX COLLECTOR, SO AS TO DELAY THE IMPLEMENTATION DATE FROM THE 1993 TAX YEAR TO JULY 1, 1994, AND TO CLARIFY THAT THE STANDARDS APPLY ON A FISCAL YEAR RATHER THAN A TAX YEAR BASIS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Applicable for fiscal year; effective date

SECTION 1. Section 4-9-155(C) of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 361 of 1992, is amended to read:

"(C) The provisions of this section are applicable for fiscal years beginning after June 30, 1994."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
