AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 67 OF 1965, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE BOARD OF FIRE CONTROL FOR THE SOUTH GREENVILLE AREA FIRE DISTRICT, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A VACANCY MUST BE FILLED BY APPOINTMENT BY THE GOVERNOR FOR THE UNEXPIRED PORTION OF THE TERM.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Vacancies
SECTION 1. Section 4 of Act 67 of 1965 is amended by adding at the end:
"A vacancy must be filled by appointment by the Governor for the unexpired portion of the term."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
