AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 4-1-170, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO MULTI-COUNTY INDUSTRIAL AND BUSINESS PARKS, SO AS TO REQUIRE THE PRIOR CONSENT OF A MUNICIPALITY ALL OR A PORTION OF WHICH IS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PARK.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Industrial, business parks
SECTION 1. Section 4-1-170 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 123 of 1993, is further amended by adding a new paragraph at the end to read:
"If the industrial or business park encompasses all or a portion of a municipality, the counties must obtain the consent of the municipality prior to the creation of the multi-county industrial park."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
