A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE COMMISSION ON INDIGENT DEFENSE MAY TRANSFER UNSPENT FUNDS FROM CARRY-FORWARD MONEYS FROM THE LAST FISCAL YEAR TO THE OFFICE OF APPELLATE DEFENSE TO HELP OFFSET THAT AGENCY'S BUDGET REDUCTIONS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Commission on Indigent Defense
SECTION 1. Authority is hereby granted to the Commission on Indigent Defense to transfer a sum of up to one hundred five thousand dollars from unspent carry-forward funds from the last fiscal year to the Office of Appellate Defense to help the Office of Appellate Defense offset its budget reductions.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 27th day of April, 2004.
Approved the 29th day of April, 2004.
