REGULAR SESSION BEGINNING TUESDAY, JANUARY 12, 2021
________
The House assembled at 12:00 noon.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:
Our thought for today is from Psalm 130:1-2: "Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice!"
Let us pray. Mighty God, Lord of all, come to the aid of Your people as they give their time and talents to the workings of this Legislature. Protect them from all evil and listen to their cries. Be with them, their families and staff. Bless our defenders of freedom and first responders. Look in favor upon our World, Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, staff, and all who labor in these Halls of Government. Heal the wounds, those seen and those hidden, of our brave men and women who suffer and sacrifice for our freedom. Lord, in Your Mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
